Tu o Lei? How to Be Polite in Italian | Italian Grammar Explained in English
Like Spanish and French, Italian has a polite form: Lei, which actually means... you! Today we combine culture and grammar and we learn how to recognise it and use it in the right settings. Listen to two dialogues: are the speakers using a formal or an informal register? I also ask you to turn some sentences from informal to formal: pay attention to verbs and pronouns. There is a final exercise that I want you to do in the comments - don't skip it!
Watch to the end for a behind-the-scene look at our recording session 😃
