I'd like to take you on an adventure to the Fire Wave for a morning Sunrise. The Fire Wave trail is a hike in the Valley of Fire State park housed in Nevada.

It's just due north and a little east of the center of Las Vegas and only about an hour drive if you are staying in Las Vegas.

The Valley of Fire is a wonderland for a photographers. It's a great place to practice your photography skills especially in the early morning or late evening glow when the sun light is at it's absolute best.

There are a number of hikes in the park. All day hikes. There is also a few great places to camp inside the park itself and there are also great places to boondock camp outside the park at both ends. The north end being a better location to set up camp.

While you have to pay state park access fees while accessing the park, it's well worth the ticket for admissions.
