Lloyd Parks - We'll Get Over It / Skin Flesh & Bones - We'll Get Over It Part 2, 1976

Born on 26 May-1948, in Kingston, Lloyd Parks is a Jamaican reggae singer and bass player, who recorded and performed as a solo artist, as well as part of Skin Flesh & Bones, The Revolutionaries, The Professionals, and We the People Band, who backed Dennis Brown on tour for over 20 years and most editions of Reggae Sunsplash Festival.
Started singing in his uncle's calypso band in early 60's, by late 60's he performed with the Invincibles band (together with Ansell Collins, Sly Dunbar and Ranchie McLean), before teaming up with Wentworth Vernal in The Termites and recording their 1st album "Do the Rocksteady" for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label. He also joined The Techniques, replacing Pat Kelly.
As a studio bass player, backing reggae artists as Justin Hinds on Duke Reid's Treasure Isle label, John Holt, and others, he became a member of Skin Flesh and Bones, whith whom he backed Al Brown and many other singers, before they started playing for the Channel One Studios as The Revolutionaries band, renamed by Parks.
He was also a member of Joe Gibbs' house band, The Professionals, performing for Althea & Donna, The Abyssinians, The Itals, The Gladiators, Culture, Prince Far I and plenty others.
