I was tired of replacing the batteries in my fire TV stick remote. The remote seems to be a battery sucking vampire🧛♂️. My solution was, to add a micro USB charging socket to the remote, and put rechargeable batteries inside. The charging circuit is incredibly simple, just three diodes and a resistor. It is now possible to charge the remote directly from the TV's USB port or a phone charger😉
