Eveready smart GU10 from Poundland Review setup Teardown - Colour changing! #ElectronicsCreators

This is the first GU10 Smart bulb I have seen from Poundland. And unlike previous smart bulbs from Poundland, this one is full colour changing! The setup is straight forward, but I was mostly interested to see what's inside. It seems well made, and it was fun to attempt to reverse-engineer it. The WiFi module is based on a tuya BK7231 chip, and not the older ESP8258. But I believe it is possible to use tuya Cloudcutter to Flash the firmware, So It can be severed from the cloud. So it's still hackable!

There is a mistake In this video😩. the RGB LEDs are not directly driven by rectified mains voltage, like in the data sheet example. Because the combined forward voltage is closer to 14v, they are driven from the 12v psu ( 12V adapted to 14V). Thanks to Big Clive's video, for pointing that out to me.
