In this video I'm making a 10.5" diameter dinner plate. I'm using quarter sawn Texas Post Oak, which is similar to white oak. I started the process by turning the shape of the plate on the lathe, then I added some texture by carving faucets with a small gouge. #AndyRawls #GoAndMakeIt
