A forgotten Senior waiting 3 years

That's how long Rocky has been waiting.
He was found tied to a tree and brought to the shelter as an adult dog. Whatever life he knew before that day disappeared the moment he was abandoned.

For nearly three years, Rocky has been invisible. Now he's growing older and is considered a senior. The reality is that his chances of adoption are not in his favor.

Year after year, Rocky has watched other dogs leave while he remains behind.

Last week, Rocky lost the one thing that made shelter life a little easier—his kennel mate. After his best friend left for foster care, Rocky was placed with another dog and was attacked. Now he sits alone in a pop-up kennel, injured, stressed, and confused.
He has dogs above him, beside him, and constant noise surrounding him. It's heartbreaking to watch a good dog slowly waste away in a shelter.

What makes Rocky so special is that despite everything he has endured, he still trusts people. He still seeks affection. He still loves.
Rocky has spent years paying for someone else's failures.

From being tied to a tree to facing years in a shelter, Rocky has never caught a break.
He survived being tied to a tree.

Rocky is approximately 7 years old, weighs 50–55 pounds, and is listed as a Lab mix. He is friendly with people and dogs and deserves the chance to finally know what it feels like to have a home.
