Figuring out how to get into voice acting is a tricky business. There’s so much work out there in so many places, and it can be difficult to navigate the space without a voice acting tutorial to guide you. In this video, I’m going to break down some simple facts about my favorite genre – video games, or “interactive.” If you’re looking to find yourself coming out of an Xbox, a Nintendo Switch, or a Playstation, these are the things you need to know to build good characters. We’ll talk about understanding the different genres of video games, how to break down a script, where to find auditions, and what other things you can do to make sure you nail the opportunities that come your way so you can stand beside talent like Nolan North, Troy Baker, Jennifer Hale, and others. Auditioning will be a little easier to handle with these great tips!
