Scan QR Codes On Redmi Note 14 / 14 Pro+:

Method 1: Use the Camera App

Step 1: Launch the Camera app on your Redmi Note 14 / 14 Pro. Here, tap on the arrow in the middle-top of the screen and select the Settings icon.

Step 2: Under Settings, select "Smart Suggestions" and ensure "Scan QR Codes" is enabled.

Step 3: Point the Camera at the QR code you want to scan. Wait a second for the QR code to be recognized. You should see the QR code icon appear on the screen.

Step 4: Tap on the QR icon to take action. This will open whatever function the QR code was meant to open.

Make sure the code is within the camera’s frame and your lens is clean for best results.

Method 2: Use the Control Center Scanner

MIUI comes with a dedicated QR code scanner in the Control Center.

Step 1: Swipe down from the top-right of your screen to open the Quick Settings.

Step 2: Look for the “Scanner” icon (a square with a horizontal line in the middle). Tap the icon to open the scanner.

Step 3: Align the QR code within the frame to scan it.

If you don’t see the Scanner icon, tap the pencil/edit icon to customize your quick settings. Drag the Scanner button into the active panel.

Method 3: Scan Using Scanner App

The Redmi Note 14 Series also come pre-installed with the QR code scanner app.

Step 1: Launch the Scanner app (a square with a horizontal line in the middle) by using Global search to find it, or from the "Tools folder".

Step 2: Align the QR code within the frame to scan it. The scanner will process the image and show the result.

Method 4: Use the Google Lens Feature

You can also use Google Lens app. Simply launch it and point it at a QR code.

Google Lens will automatically scan and show the info or link.
