Method 1: From Settings

Step 1: Launch the Settings app from the home screen or app drawer. Scroll down and select "Google".

Step 2: Under Google, scroll down and select "Search, Assistant and Voice". Here, select "Gemini".

Step 3: Inside the Gemini Settings, tap on "Digital Assistants From Google". Gemini should be selected by default.

Step 4: Select "Google Assistant" and confirm your choice by tapping on "Switch". Google Assistant will now be your default digital assistant.

Method 2: From the Google App

Step 1: Launch the Google app icon on your home screen or app drawer. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner and select "Settings".

Step 2: Choose "Google Assistant", then scroll down and tap on "Digital Assistants from Google".

Step 3: Inside Digital Assistants from Google, select the Google Assistant option, instead of Gemini.

This will disable Gemini and revert your assistant to the classic Google Assistant interface.
