Stone Temple Pilots Live At New Haven Veterans Memorial Coliseum, New Haven, CT, August 23, 1994

I went to this show when I was 21 years old. I sat to the right of the stage, section 2, row 7 seat 7. While my memories are fuzzy from back then, I do recall that Scott Weiland sat on the side of the stage and watched the Meat Puppets open up. STP had this cool "living room" set up that they played their acoustic set in, and the show was great.

In 2019 the band released the Purple super deluxe boxed set with an extra CD of the entire New Haven show and I was super psyched to hear it again. Recently I was going through the Thank You greatest hits DVD and there were 3 live tracks that were from 1994 that sounded... familiar. Of course, I had to find out. So I took the audio from the video (which was very muddy sounding - the video is also very fuzzy) and compared it to the New Haven release and it matched up perfectly, just a slight difference in speed (which probably occured when remastering the audio or a difference between sources). With a few tweaks I was able to remaster the CD audio to the DVD video and also added some of the in between intros and thank yous. The songs included (now in correct running order) are:

Silvergun Superman (2nd song of the set)
Army Ants (11th song)
Interstate Love Song (13th song)
