Fleetwood Mac Rhiannon (music video)

I needed a music video for this classic, as the audio on either of the live performances I had was not great. This was not an easy task. For starters, Fleetwood Mac performed this much, much faster live. I had to slow everything down to 93-94%. On the live performances Stevie often strays from the album lyrics, especially the chorus:

All your life you've never seen
Woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?

On the studio version it’s repeated 3 times. However, live she would sing alternate lyrics the second and third chorus. So I had to patch that together from different performances, along with trying to match up the vocals and fill gaps when the band would play it differently live. Many of edits in the 3 live videos I used were all at the same places in the song, so there was not much overlap for me to add new edits. Once I finally got a decent edit put together, I realized the color difference of the film between the 3 versions didn’t match, so I tied it all together by running it through a filter to a sepia toned color. Not too shabby for one created out of necessity more than actually having great material!
