ARMENIAN LIFE: Yerevan My Love - Areni project

We team up with Yerevan My Love Foundation to help refugees from Artsakh in Areni Village.

Mrs Mitch and I visit 2 homes where refugee families have been relocated to. The first home we visited has no running water at all and no fridge, oven or washing machine. So, with the generous help of the Yerevan My Love Foundation and people who've donated directly to us, we've managed to buy this family of 6 a brand new fridge. Furthermore, we hope to install a fully functioning bathroom and toilet in the next few weeks, so that they won't have to go to the neighbour's to wash and go to the toilet. Meanwhile, the family was so grateful for their new fridge when it was delivered whilst we were filming.

Then we went to the household of a husband and wife and their 6 children. Work has begun on the installation of a fully functioning bathroom and toilet and septic tank. Similarly, they are very grateful for the help they're receiving.

We are also thankful to Mr Len Wicks and his wife Armine (from the Areni Lodge) who are also helping the refugees in Areni. It's a joint effort and we give all glory to God and pray that these dear people from Artsakh will one day be able to return to their homeland.

Let's stop talking about Armenia being the first Christian nation and really come together as one people under God to love and help each other, especially these dear brothers and sisters from Artsakh.
