NOTE:
Closing and opening the bleeder fitting varies between tires. I've noted the differences below to save you some trial and error:
Left Front - Pull to you towards you to open, Push towards the vehicle to close
Right Front - Push towards the vehicle to open, pull towards you to close.
Left Rear - Push towards the vehicle to open, pull towards you to close.
Right Rear - Pull to you towards you to open, Push towards the vehicle to close
This video addresses the procedure to replace the DOT3 brake fluid in a 2018 Honda Accord. I used approximately 36 ounces of fluid in this change.
When the work is complete, pump the brake pedal and confirm it becomes firm and indicates pressure is present. Go for a test drive to confirm the brakes are in working order.
If you use a turkey baster to remove the brake fluid, you'll need to use it with a hose like I have in this video. This is due to a number of internally raised ledges within the Brakes master Cylinder fluid reservoir that prevents large objects from being inserted. These ledges can be seen in the overhead view of the reservoir in my video.
All steps can be performed using standard hand tools.
