Bud Brisbois - Trumpet Today

In 1964 trumpet great Bud Brisbois released a trumpet method book titled "Trumpet Today: A Planned Program for Building the High Register". The book consisted of 9 lessons that were intended to stretch the student's range a little farther with each page. At the end of each lesson was a solo, written for Bud by his friend and colleague Lennie Niehaus. Included with the book was a 7" record of Bud playing the exercises with a piano accompaniment.
