The DPR roll-to-roll system for the C6500 allows easy external feeding of labels as well as the ability to consistently feed labels onto a core. The sturdy construction and optional supports allows the usage of larger outer-diameter rolls than the internal core of the C6500 printers. You can purchase the DPR label rewinder and unwinder from our website at https://infinitylabelgroup.com/product/dpr-label-roll-to-roll-kit-for-epson-c6500a-printer/

What's up guys, it's Pete. I know it's been a little while since we have release d a video, but we have been very busy. As you can see, the C6500 is very comfortable in its new home and today I'm going to be showing you the benefits of using a DPR label unwinder and rewinder set up for your labels.

Basically, what the rewinder and unwinder do is give the labels a point to roll off of and a point to roll onto so that if you're doing something like applying the labels by hand or moving them onto another machine like an applicator, they're already on a roll for you so you don't have to worry about a mess.

All you're going to do to load your media is take your 3" core, slide it onto the unwinder from here, attach your media guide, and you're just going to tighten the knob. That will push this (the core holder) out and hold the roll in place. If you're using a larger media or a heavier roll, you also have the option to attach this media stand that works a support and holds this (the core holder) up. From here, all you have to do is take your media, feed it under the bar, turn the machine on, and then load the printer like you normally would.

Over here, I have my BarTender document set up. I'm just going to print 10 copies of our IPSi print quality samples and then I'll show you what it's like going on to the rewinder. Now there are a couple ways to load the rewinder...

The way I like to do it, which helps minimize waste, print about four or five labels then we're going to go ahead and pause this again. We'll take a blank core that matches the width of our labels, slide it onto the rewinder, and then just take a blank piece of old media or tape. Tuck your labels up under the arm and onto the core and tape it on.

It's pretty much the same process as loading it on the C7500 or C3500 rewinders that I've shown in previous videos. Just turn that rewinder on and it'll tighten itself up and we can begin printing again. Sometimes it gets a little stuck. Now we can just unpause the printer and all of our labels will be fed onto that core.

Usually this is enough to keep the labels tight to one side but you can also add your media guide on this side to make sure they all stay in the middle.

Well that's all I got for today guys. I hope you enjoyed our little demonstration of the new DPR label unwinder and rewinder for the C6500 series. The one for the C6000 series is a little different, and hopefully we'll be coming out with a video for that soon.

In the meantime, you can go to www.infinitylabelgroup.com to order your unwinder and rewinder or supplies for your C6500, or you can order a C6500 if you don't have one, and then order that other stuff.

If you have and questions or comments, hit us up at www.ipsiscan.com. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

This has been Pete, I'll see you next time.
