Richard Mille RM011- The Best Investment RM Ever Made??

With almost every A-List celeb and athlete wearing Richard Mille nowadays, I want to take a look at what I believe is the model that put RM on the map. Richard Mille is a brand that represents the top level of luxury. This is a brand that is targeting the top 1%. They have no intention on producing watches for the masses. Every single model from there lineup comes with a hefty msrp and an even more challenging waiting list. The first watch that made me fall in love with the brand is the RM11. This is the larger case with the chrono flyback function. For me it’s the first model that really got my attention after the Rm005 and the RM010. Those previous models seemed for me very basic, although they do deserve the credit for being the models that pretty much launched the brand.
With so many nice models available today from Richard Millie like the RM035 Nadal or the RM055 Bubba its very easy to choose a unique and distinct model before finding out that is will cost you $250k plus and about $100k over retail. This is the reason that for me I tend to like best the classic Rm011. The rose gold and the titanium version for me tend to have the most bang for your buck. Not to high and not to low. You get a bit of everything form the brand in one package at a still reasonable price. The titanium version will run you about $185K while the rose version will run $200k+. The newer RM011-03 although very nice looking and striking with its larger feel and more colorful dial layout usually adds an additional $100k to the price tag. It is for this reason thatI also feel that the “Classic” RM011 is the best overall.
One thing is for sure, Richard Mille is here to stay and I look forward to seeing all the new models that are on the way.
