Arctic air continues to linger over much of the northern high plains creating dangerous, life-threatening windchills in the -20º to -40º range across Montana and the Dakotas. The brutal cold, combined with snow, made for difficult driving conditions in the Billings, MT area. Blowing and drifting snow has been occuring today along Interstate 90 and 94. The arctic air is expected to retreat temporarily this weekend before yet another blast arrives next week.
