Off the grid in the hills of Alessandria Italy Daglio Carrega Ligure

This spring, I took the family up to Carrega Ligure. What a journey. It's as 'off the grid' or 'remote' as one could hope to get here in North Italy. Carrega Ligure One of the first to announce their intention for the 1 euro home program many years ago. Recently, they resurfaced on CNN offering deals as low as 10-12k, so I decided it was worth a visit.

Located in Alessandria, Carrega Ligure is made up of multiple villages. We had the opportunity to visit two of them which will be shared in this and a subsequent video. In this video, you'll be seeing Daglio.
