Yoga is a way of Living. The Indian sagas/yogis used to practice yoga to keep their body healthy so that they can attain salvation.
Its much more than a physical exercise. The development of yoga can be traced back to over 5,000 years ago, but some researchers think that yoga may be up to 10,000 years old old

Through this challenge my aim is to showcase the power of Yoga. When one practices yoga he gets much more what gym can give. Fitness is just one aspect of it. There is more it. Your body,mind and soul needs to be in harmony to achieve anything in life.
And yoga along with Ayurvedic diet helps to attain it.

During 30 Days I will be performing some series of asanas repeatedly to break the myth that without going to gym or using any fitness equipment one can never be fit.

Also in West people relate Yoga only to some stretching exercises or spirituality. But Yoga has way more aspects than one can think so. There are around 8,400,000 asanas.
The chances are most of the fitness regime would have been derived from Yoga itself.

I am practicing Yoga since I was a small kid but I was not consistent. Through this series my hidden agenda is to get fit too.
