COOL SPACE PICS WITH A PHONE AND BINOCULARS
Cool Space Pics with a Phone and Binoculars is the ultimate tutorial in cheap, mobile astrophotography. With this how to video you will be able to do great astronomy with binoculars and your smartphone (I used an android HTC U11 but iphones, samsung galaxy, LG etc ...will work). This is an original concept although I must thank Forrest Tanaka for his work in this video "Astrophotography without a star tracker"

And also a huge thank you to Riktenstein for providing an original score worked around the theme of Space Odyssey. You can own his brilliant music by following this link...

Once you have collected hundreds of images - in the way explained in the film - you will need to stack them in free software called Deep Sky Stacker which you can download here...
http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/index.html
I will hopefully do a tutorial on how to use it soon, in the mean time why not check out this one...

Please note I did not use dark frames (I don't think you need them). Nor did I use Flats (which flatten out the vignetting causes by shooting through the binoculars) instead of taking flats I flattened out the background in the light pollution removal tool in Astro pixel Processor which can be downloaded here...

... where you can try it out for 30 days for free but after that you will have to buy it at a cost of around £100.
please ask questions below and I will do my best to answer promptly. You can also ask questions on my facebook page www.facebook.com/astrobiscuit
