*** DO YOU WANT TO BUY THE SAME BUDGET SET UP?***
The cheapest place to buy astro gear second hand is Ebay. The best bargains are auctions that are pick up only… but you can also get the same kit new. On my website I have suggestions as well as the best prices for new kit in the USA and UK: https://www.astrobiscuit.com/mid-level-astrophotography-rig

And if you want to get a quick overview of similar kit that you can get in the UK here are some links...

150PDS Newtonian telescope on an EQ3 Pro GOTO Mount: £620

This telescope and mount set up is basically the same as my budget set up although the EQ3 Pro goto mount will be better behaved than the old celestron CG5-GT although it may not be any better at tracking the stars.

If you want to go PRO then I would advise buying the telescope seperately...
Telescope: 150PDS: £229

and pairing it with a Better Mount: EQ5 Pro Goto Mount :£569
https://www.firstlightoptics.com/skywatcher-mounts/skywatcher-eq5-pro-synscan-goto/ref/astrobiscuit/

or an AMAZING MOUNT: HEQ5 with rowan belt upgrade: £955
(I managed to pick up a second hand one of these cheaply and it is amazing)

To turn this and any other F5 Newtonian Telescope into a FULL FRAME ASTROGRAPH you will need a coma corrector.
Skywatcher 0.9x Coma Corrector: £119
https://www.firstlightoptics.com/coma-correctors/skywatcher-coma-corrector/ref/astrobiscuit/
One of the most surprising aspects of this whole build was the fact that this Skywatcher coma corrector paired with the Newtonian telescope manages to give sharp, virtually coma free stars right to the edge of the frame of a full frame camera.

CAMERA:
I bought my very well used Canon 5d mark ii second hand very cheaply but if I had a bit more cash I would buy a Canon 6D because it is more sensitive and has lower noise than the canon 5d mark ii. I saw them going for £300 on ebay just before Christmas.
In order to get the best out of the camera you need to remove the infra-red blocking filter which sits in front of the sensor. You can do it yourself but it is a risk (and more modern cameras are much more tricky to modify). I recommend Andy Ellis at Astronomiser to do this mod professionally. Andy also cleans the sensor as part of the service: http://www.astronomiser.co.uk/
