Spraying Tintable Raptor on the floor.
2nd part of the floor finishing. I used tintable Raptor and I used my base coat paint for the color. You can buy tint packs for Raptor specifically, but I figured this would work.
The tintable is a little harder to work with because you really have to focus on mixing. I think its a little thicker too. In the end, I was hoping to get the same texture I had with the black in my previous videos. But it came out much smoother. Maybe because I thinned it a bit more, or maybe due to the overall reduced Raptor volume (as it's also mixed with base coat).
The big lesson was to have more prep for mixing. Since I wasn't sure how much base coat I needed to achieve the tint I wanted, I ended up with a few different ratios. Now that it's fully cured, it's difficult to tell. I'm satisfied.
