IRAN - The Wonderland!
Kashan is world renowned for its Persian rugs design. Marco Polo passed through this city in 1272 on the world's famous trade route - The Silk Road. Fin Garden, one of the 11 Persian Gardens collectively designated as a World Heritage Site is here and dates back to early 16th century. The water running through the garden is NOT a city water, but the Spring Of Solomon. It is thousands of years old and still running strong!
Abyaneh, The Red Village, is near Kashan and dates to, at least, 7th Century.
At the town center there are a collection of 18th Century houses with the most astonishing plaster art work you'll ever see anywhere in the world!
