Muslims Who Rescued Jews during the Holocaust

Remarkably, there were more Jews in Albania, the only European country with a Muslim majority, at the end of WWII than prior to it. Seventy-five Albanians who rescued Jews during the Holocaust have been recognized to date as Righteous among the Nations by Yad Vashem. This online panel, organized jointly by Faith Matters and Yad Vashem, will focus on the unique relationship between Albanian Muslim families and Jewish refugees who fled for their lives during the Holocaust and offer insights into the educational messages of this history for our generation.
