Info and Background: There is nothing special about normal Rosewill keyboards other than their lower price since they are basically newegg's "generic" keyboards. However, a Rosewill MECHANICAL keyboard deserves to be mentioned. Mechanical keyboards in general will last much longer than a typical membrane dome keyboard. And because of the nature of the keys and switches, you'll only need to press the key halfway down for it to register, as opposed to needing to hit the very bottom of a key press in a membrane keyboard. Lastly, the most important aspect for many mechanical keyboard owners is the feel of the keys and experience you'll get while typing. Once you've owned one, you'll realize what you've been missing out on and won't be able to go back to a regular membrane keyboard.

The first leap into the mechanical keyboard world has always been price. Typically these keyboards can cost over $100 out the door. However in the past few years, they have been getting more popular (especially cherry MX switches), and more companies starting making them to drive the price down. However, there can be variances in quality between different companies. Filco is a tried and true brand, but their keyboards are not cheap, price-wise. Newegg managed to rebrand a Filco into a Rosewill mechanical keyboard and sell it for about half the price. There are a few minor differences, but the core of the keyboard is still a $160 full size Filco.
I received this keyboard around late September. It was opened up to verify that Costar (the OEM of Filco) was still the guts of these Roswill keyboards. And you can see near the end of the video that indeed Costar was still making these. One problem many users report was that the mini USB connector always came loose, but it looks like that might have been fixed in this revision.

And also note that Costar only makes the RK-9000 series keyboards. A few weeks ago, Rosewill also just released the newer RK-9100 series with backlit LED caps, and these are NOT made by Costar, so quality could be lower.
