Steel Roof Framing Through Lightweight Truss Geometry

Lightweight roofing systems are engineered through geometry before material thickness.

The galvanized steel members are aligned diagonally and fixed through localized weld points to stabilize the roof frame before panel installation. With steel thickness commonly between 1.0 and 1.6 mm, the structure remains light enough for manual handling while distributing load across repeated truss sections.

The strength of the frame comes from how force moves through the structure. Each diagonal connection reduces flex, improves stiffness, and allows thin steel profiles to function as a unified support system under wind and roof pressure.

Modern construction often achieves efficiency by directing force more intelligently, not by adding unnecessary mass.
