Comparing Three Different 1oz Random Round On Line Bullion Orders -
Have you ever wondered what you get if you place an order of random 1oz rounds from an online bullion dealer? I placed the same order with three different online dealers and I’m going to show you exactly what I got!
I wanted to see exactly what you got when you ordered random 1oz silver rounds for an online bullion dealer, so I placed the same order of ten, 1oz random rounds from three online bullion dealers.

As stackers we know that it’s a bit of a dice roll when we purchase random, any mint, any condition rounds from an online dealer but the one thing that is always consistent is that it will be a round comprised of at least three nines fine silver and weigh 1 troy ounce. And really when it comes down to it, that’s all we ever expect! Anything else is just icing on the cake!

From Provident Metals - I received 10 new Asahi rounds
From SD Bullion - I received 10 [new] Buffalo Rounds
From Hero Bullion - I received four different designs. Three AMARK Liberty Silver Rounds, three Buffalo Rounds, three Independent Living Bullion Rounds and one Walker Zombucks round!
This variety was a very pleasant surprise but the Zombucks round being part of the order was really amazing! They also threw in a Mercury Dime! It’s always nice to receive a little surprise when you open your order!

My opinion about the results of these orders.
First off it should be understood that you should never expect to receive anything that is not specifically advertised. If it states “any condition” then that’s what we should expect, if it states new and unblemished then that’s what we should expect.
Ordering random rounds is a very much hit and miss proposition. In this case I received brand new rounds from all three dealers when only one dealer specified new rounds as a condition of the purchase.
All three dealers clearly stated that the rounds can be from any manufacturer and variety is not guaranteed so getting ten of the same rounds from two of the dealers is completely acceptable.
I have to say that I was very impressed with the Hero Bullion order. Not only were all the rounds in new condition but I received 4 different designs which I believe that’s what most of us are looking for when we place an order for random rounds.
With the variety and condition exceeding my expectations, Hero Bullion, in my opinion, out shined it competitors in this comparative analysis.
Does this mean I should expect these kinds of results each and every time? Absolutely not. But on this day, Hero Bullion was the clear winner!
