lightening my hair naturally with chamomile and lemon juice

I start an experiment in the attempt to lighten my hair naturally using chamomile tea and lemon juice. In this video I show you through making the concoction I will be putting in my hair for the next few weeks, and trial it on my hair to see if there is any sticky residue from the mixture. The chamomile tea is meant to lighten hair with or without heat, but the lemon juice is meant to require heat to 'activate' the lightening. As I did this at night (and I will likely be doing this at night going forward) I just used heat from a blowdryer.

Spoiler alert: I didn't think there was any noticeable change, but this was only after one application and most sources say at least 4-6 applications are required to see a real difference. I will keep at it and report my progress in approx. 6 weeks or after at least a few applications.

If this doesn't work (over time) or more so if it the effort is too much for the result it produces, I might try hydrogen peroxide next!

What do you think, will this make a noticeable difference over time? If you have tried this previously leave me a comment how it went!
