Hey guys, it's Amanda. If you're new here, I'm an American who's been living in the UK for close to a decade, and I post videos about my life and experiences here. I've done a few videos on British words that confused me and rhyming slang, but today we will be talking about certain words that Britain and America use very differently. When I first moved here, someone would say something, and I'd think one thing when in reality it was something completely different; it was frustrating and at times a bit embarrassing. (Lol)
So I thought it would be fun to talk about the different meanings of these words in each country to maybe help people that are visiting or just give you guys a good laugh. (Lol) I also want to mention that some of these words might overlap in either country; I'm just talking about their general use.
