Bardolino has a magnificent promenade along the lake, where you can sit on one of the many benches and enjoy the view to the opposite side of the lake or just watch the small waves as time goes by.

The neighboring towns of Garda and Lazise are both interesting and can be reached in a few minutes.

The city is very well located for excursions into the exciting northern Italian area around Lake Garda.

Just a few kilometers from Bardolino lies the immensely popular theme park, Gardaland, which is always worth a visit.

And only approx. ½ hour drive from Bardolino lies Verona, rich in shopping and restaurants and not least the world famous theater, Opera di Verona, which is an ancient Roman amphitheater.

Today it is used for large outdoor opera performances, and it is definitely worth a visit.
