NORTH POLE TOWN (The Theme From Santa's Workshop) - Jeff Stoughton & The Lake Placid Club Orchestra

Recorded and released by Santa's Workshop at Whiteface Mountain, NY in 1950 on both 45 and 78 RPM. The 45 pressings sold out over the first couple of years, but by then 78's were already outdated, and one could still purchase brand new 78 RPM copies of this record at the gift shop into the 1980's! This music was also used as the basis for Santa's Workshop radio ads throughout the 1950's.
The audio in this video was restored and mastered by myself from an *unplayed* 78 RPM disc.

Performed by Jeff Stoughton and The Lake Placid Club Orchestra, with vocal duties by Larry Murphy. The track is believed to have been recorded remotely at The Lake Placid Club, but this is not confirmed. Merry Christmas, all!
