HORROR TALES: The Wine | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Another day of October, another horror game! Today we have a real treat for all of you! Though the title might sound a bit generic, Horror Tales: The Wine is an AWESOME game that you should not miss. We head towards a small Mediterranean village that has been deserted because of a plague that caused death and destruction. We are here to find out what happened and hopefully find a mystical wine that can help heal all ailments of our loved ones. But it does not take long before we notice that we are not the only ones here. There are shadows in the dark and they are hunting us.
This game provides a beautiful contrast with such colorful and vibrant environments combined with scary and tense sections. It always felt nice to wind down a bit and enjoy the view in between the scary bits. That meant the pacing was better since you as the player get to have a bit of a breather instead of being tense all the time. My only complaint is that the game relies a bit too much on the same type of puzzle where you have to find symbols in the environment to pair certain images with one another. This happens a good 7 or 8 times and could have easily been halved since it became a bit predictable.
