Na-trap sa ilalim ng staff building ang mga empleyado ng pribadong landfill matapos gumuho ang bundok ng basura sa likod nito sa Cebu City noong Huwebes.
Agad rumesponde ang mga awtoridad para sagipin ang mga natabunan.
Isa ang nakumpirmang patay habang walo pa ang na-recover at isinugod sa ospital.
Nasa tatlumpu pa ang hinahanap ng rescuers.
Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, kasing taas na umano ng sampung palapag na gusali ang landfill.
Patuloy na inaalam ng Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office ang dahilan ng insidente.
Nangako naman ang operator ng pribadong landfill na tutulong sa mga naapektuhan ng pagguho.
