Palace announces P5,000 subsidy for PUV drivers starting next week | ANC

Dateline Philippines: Drivers of public utility vehicles will receive P5,000-worth of fuel subsidy starting next week, Malacañang said on Wednesday as the Philippines grapples with high oil prices due to continuous tensions in the Middle East.

“Magsisimula sa susunod na linggo ang distribusyon ng fuel subsidy sa Metro Manila, na pangungunahan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Department of Transportation (DOTr),” the Office of the Executive Secretary said in a statement. — Report from Katrina Domingo, ABS-CBN News
