Sudden Flash Flood In Moab Desert

This is the shocking moment a flash flood was caught on camera making its way through the desert.

Weston Couey, from Moab, Utah, US, observed a sudden and powerful flash flood going through the Moab Desert on July 25.

He had noticed there had recently been a forest fire in the area and saw the mountain turning grey, which he says implies an incoming rainstorm.

Weston drove down the mountain to get ahead of the flood and managed to capture the stream gushing through, pushing a massive load of burnt branches and tree scraps.
