This man has become a real-life version of Tarzan with how he traverses through the forest like an ape. Leopold Hurbin, also known as Leo Urban, is a 29-year-old parkour expert and athlete who developed his own parkour method which has turned him into the real-life depiction of Tarzan. From a young age, Leo has always lived in nature and began climbing trees before moving to Paris where he climbed buildings due to the lack of forests for him to train in. Now Leo has developed his ‘Primal Method’ which he started when he first discovered parkour 15 years ago. The ‘Primal Method’ allows Leo to traverse through mountains and forests as fast and elegantly as he can. After spending time studying and learning from apes and monkeys Leo mastered his movement and mimics them in his ‘Primal Method’. Leo said: “My ‘Primal Method” Is a feeling of total freedom and connection with my environment, and nature. It's a very unique feeling. “Being as close as possible to the monkeys was an exciting experience. I was able to observe their behaviours and movements in the trees. I then felt a lot of admiration and motivation. I was able to observe their fluidity and it inspires me on a daily basis in my training. “At first, people were surprised, even disturbed by the way I moved in the trees. Since the Tower climbing, I have gained credibility. Today I feel that my method attracts and intrigues people.”
