(4K) Swiss Airbus A320 flight video, Geneva to Heathrow - Business Class Experience - LX348

(HB-IJD) Airbus A320-214 cold start in Geneva Cointrin and a sunset arrival with views of London upon arrival into London Heathrow.

An impressive first experience with Swiss International Airlines a part of the Star Alliance. Boarding commenced from gate B33, a stand located at one of the satellite terminals however the Airbus was sitting at one of the remote stands towards the east of the apron so shuttle buses arrived instead of the aircraft. Upon boarding, we were greeted by the lovely cabin crew and took our seats. They handed the business passengers a bottle of water and a wet towel before departure. The cabin was immaculate considering the aircraft was, at the time, 20 years old! It was recently fitted with brand new seats, carpet and panels. The windows were also very clean and spotless, not a scratch which is very nice to see for a change. The cabin layout is the same as economy however the middle seat is kept free, although there were only 7 passengers in 4 rows of business class there was plenty of space. It took about 10 minutes from engine start to takeoff and surprisingly, we did not hold when we arrived into Heathrow. Brilliant CFM spool up on takeoff with the number one stabilizing a little faster than the number 2 making it just that little it better. I find that the atmosphere on board the Airbus feels and sounds much greater than the Boeing but that's just a matter of opinion. The sound of the air-resistance acting against the aircraft sounds much quieter and it is a much more relaxing and enjoyable experience.

As for the food, we were served a salmon dish, hot rolls and a spiced apple desert. Couldn't fault the service. For a first time flying with the airline, I was extremely impressed and they have left a positive view considering this flight cost me a grand £45, crazy I know! Definitely an opportunity not to be missed.
