Finding Easy Opal on the surface thrown out by the miners in 1890’s

Finding opal discarded by the early miners from the 1890’s, just sitting on the surface! Back in the early days they didn’t have a market for the first found opals, so the blues and most of the greens were simply thrown away. Today we can find them laying on the surface. This can be done by anyone who makes the effort to visit the opal fields.
