Afternoon Sellaronda by road bike · Alta Badia · Dolomites

One of the most common questions we receive from cyclists planning their holiday at Ustaria Posta is: "What is the best period of time to ride the Sellaronda by road bike?"

Honestly, you can ride it whenever you want, but if you prefer to be most of the time alone with your struggling and don't want to be passed by crazy motorbikers and sport car drivers then pick a late afternoon.

As the Sellaronda is a loop and you can ride it clockwise or counterclockwise you can also try to ride it one day in one direction just during the day, as you usually would do, and another loop you do it at a late afternoon hour.
