Skiing the Dolomites in spring, is winter already over?
Many tourists believe that skiing the Dolomites in spring is not anymore possible or the snow is too waterish and wet. But trust me if I tell you that we experience the warmest days during the winter season usually middle/end of February. After this weeks winter comes back and rules until into April.
In fact among the tourist operators we always say:"Tourists leave before the snow melts!"
March I think is one of those amazing months where you can without any problem practice 2 activities. In the morning you could ski and in the afternoon when it's warmer opt for a bike ride.
That's why this time I switched from skiing to cycling on an epic ride towards the Störes and Pralongia plateau.
Enjoy the ride!
