The Lightbringer - Kip Guile Fan Song (Spoilers!) | Progressive Electronica

I really admire Brent Weeks’ Lightbringer series, as the worldbuilding, character development, and storytelling are absolutely phenomenal. More than this, the story he tells is incredibly archetypal. Kip’s journey in particular, of rising into a hero—perhaps the true Lightbringer—from such painful beginnings, was deeply moving.

Kip strove to embody mercy, compassion, and still survive in a realistically harsh and ruthless world. His journey, and indeed, even that of Andross and Gavin, invites us to rise up and become the Lightbringers of our own lives, for a world just as much in need of it as the Seven Satrapies.

I believe there is a lot of wisdom that can be taken from this incredible piece of literature.
