Wild Horse Canyon Green River Wyoming in 4K

This drone flight in and around Green River Wyoming was filmed using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone shooting in 4K. The first three quarters of the video is of Wild Horse Canyon that's just north of the west end of Green RIver city and documents the mesa's and towers within the canyon.

About midway through the camera looks towards the west onto James Town Wyoming that's just a few miles west of Green River and situated along the river.

The final quarter of the video, just north and south of the river and south of I-80 includes a close up view of a large mesa with Wild Horse Canyon in the background north of I-80. The view as I pull back of the near by mesa with Wild Horse Canyon in the background is probably my favorite portion of this video.

At the end the drone has crossed over tot he south side of the river and we check out another smaller canyon near the UP tracks west of Green River.

Throughout the video the color a detail revealed by the drone is quite remarkable -- I have to think tools like this will revolutionize geology as it provides an unmatched ability to see things not possible through any other means. The ability to inspect places in fragile areas that could be damaged by boots on the ground is something that should make supervising and maintaining sensitive areas easier and to do so with zero contact.
