White House Trailhead along the Paria River in 4K

This area, accessed from a well maintained 2 mile dirt road, is known as the White House Trailhead and Nautilus Trailhead with a small primitive campground at the end of the dirt road. The area is about 30 miles west of Page Arizona along US-89 with the turn-off at the Paria Contact Station and about a mile beyond the parking area for the Toadstool Hoodoos. The dirt road is about 2 miles long and well maintained, though it can be difficult during and after a rain.

This video, shot in 4K using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, features some interesting sandstone formations as well as the Paria River. The river flows down towards Lees Ferry where it joins the Colorado River. About 5 miles downstream from this location the Paria River enters an area of steep and narrow slot canyons near Buckskin Gulch. About 8.6 miles from here heading about 227.5 degrees is the famous "The Wave".

Other places of interest in the area are the Toadstool Hoodoos.

As well as the old townsite, now abandoned, known as Paria. Paria became a Western Movie location during the heyday of Western Movies but is now a great location for photography.
