"Ultralight Sailplanes" - Dan Armstrong

A presentation at the 2018 ESA Western Workshop.

This talk is based on Dan Armstrong's personal experiences in hang gliding and ultralight gliders and is intended to show some of the history of ultralight gliders, some practical aspects of their construction and operation and why they remain a real possibility for the future. Several questions from the audience are answered at the end of the talk.
