Hello , I’m Martin Phillips, I’m head of catering logistics for Virgin Trains. Hello, I’m Wendy Garret, I’m systems and compliance manager for Virgin Trains. We chose Chip and Pin Solutions because we were looking for someone who was flexible and had the customer at the heart of the business. The part of the business that we use chip and pin machines is on our on-board shop on our Pendolino and Voyager trains. We did accept card payments before we started working with chip and pin solutions but we had some problems with PCI compliance and therefore stopped taking payments. Chip and Pin Solutions came along at exactly the right time to give us the solution for our customers that we could use. What I like most about our experience is Chip and Pin Solutions helped us achieve our aim which was going to be a challenge in an on-board train environment. When there’s been a problem they’ve been able to solve it pretty quickly. When there’s been an extra they’ve been able to provide it and overall the customer service is really good. I would recommend Chip & Pin Solutions, they’ve been really good, they’ve been a really good solution for us. The customer is at the heart of what we do and they’ve been able to support that ethos.
