Metro Transit Technicians maintain the mechanical performance of Metro Transit’s fleet of 900 buses that are the backbone of the public transportation system in the Twin Cities. Other areas for careers include the departments of: Non-Revenue, Light Rail, Rail Maintenance, and the Northstar Train

As a Metro Transit Technician, you use state-of-the-art tools and equipment to determine problems with equipment and make repairs. Metro Transit Technicians work indoors at one of Metro Transit’s garages in the metro area. All work at the garages upholds the highest-level requirements of industry safety.
