Daredevil sailor set to make second attempt to cross Atlantic in 1m boat | SWNS

Andrew Bedwell, 52, from Scarisbreck, Lancashire, United Kingdom, will attempt to cross the Atlantic in the smallest ever boat, a 1.2 metre vessel launched from Canada, aiming for a record.

His previous boat Big C sank on the first day in 2023, prompting him to build the stronger aluminium Big C V2.

Departing Newfoundland on May 15, Bedwell attempts an Atlantic crossing in a 1.2 metre boat, aiming to beat the 105-day record and raise money for Cancer Research.
