Baby's tonsillitis was sign of aggressive brain tumour | SWNS

Nancy Dakin was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour after her symptoms were initially mistaken for tonsillitis.

The three year old from Castle Donington underwent surgery and chemotherapy before being declared cancer free in 2025.

Her family are now raising awareness of ependymoma symptoms to help other children get earlier diagnoses.
