We found a LOST dog! Thanks to Dierenambulance Amsterdam, Dunja is safely back with her family.

This morning we saw this dog running around off leash and just assumed it was following it's person. Almost 4 hours later in another part of town we saw the same pup looking a bit stressed this time with nobody around. She came right up to Amanda and Claire and of course they took her in. We fortunately had an American Girl doll dog leash on hand because we never the house with out some sort of stuffed animal and accessory bag.

Unfamiliar with the animal control/shelter process in Amsterdam, Amanda posted a photo of the dog and asking for guidance in Amsterdam Mamas Facebook group of 20K members. Within minutes multiple people recommended calling Dierenambulance Amsterdam and while they were here helping, someone in the Amsterdam Mama's group recognized the dog and sent us their number. "Dunja" was reunited with her person and it was a happy ending!
